Opening of Art Galleries

Patricia Moriarty will officially open 52M barge, and we will then visit the Aiseater Gallery, Anitas, and Market House. She has a wonderful ability to talk about art with a warmth and knowledge, guaranteed to enthuse and inform everyone who comes along.

Patricia Moriarty

Following several years as an academic in the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology Patricia Moriarty began her visual arts career in the RHA Gallagher Gallery (Royal Hibernian Academy) acting as administrator for over 12 years. Relocating to East Clare in 2000 her work as University of Limerick Arts Officer and independent curator is firmly rooted in her belief that the arts should be accessible and available to everyone. Her involvement in Mountshannon Arts Festival is primarily to provide opportunities for audiences to engage in meaningful interactions with the various arts experiences that are offered in its programming.
