Rónán Ó Snodaigh is a songwriter, composer, musician, poet and founding member and lead vocalist in the musical group Kíla. He has revolutionised the playing of the bodhrán and written many songs in Irish and English. He has written and released seven solo albums.

(Ronan own words) “I came to earth from a rouge UFO during the last star wars and have enjoyed myself thoroughly on earth playing bodhrán, guitar, singing in Gaeilge agus Béarla and reciting poetry. I do intend to return to that particular planet sometime In the future but I have to wait for some signal from the Stars. So for the minute I am quite happy to write songs and compose music . Hopefully my music resonates with people and creates the atmosphere necessary to elevate the overall experience of every audience I encounter. I have been known to also play in the band Kíla for the last 30 years or so. I spend a lot of my time on Earth trying to guide my energies towards kindness, funness and light heartedness... The language of music seems to carry that aim forward and I follow in tow” .
