This year's theme is Evolution, and as the weekend unfolds, we will explore the captivating beauty of transformation through art, artists, performances and venues.
Emerging from emotional origins and community-focused beginnings, Mountshannon Arts Festival has transformed through various stages, like a chrysalis, into a cultural event that brings people together. Each festival, characterised by its distinct ambiance and lineup, adds to the vibrant history of the Festival. It's akin to a nostalgic mixtape, where every event builds on the previous one while infusing its unique style into the rhythm, crafting unforgettable memories for everyone who participates.

We encourage the community to walk, cycle, or take the bus whenever possible, as traffic management remains a concern. If you can, please leave your car at home!
A free Park & Ride shuttle bus will operate on Saturday, 31 May, and Sunday, 1 June, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM each day.
Visitors are encouraged to park at the Catholic Church (Eircode: V94 C671) on the approach to the village and hop on the free shuttle into the heart of the festival. The bus will run a regular loop, passing the harbour and up through the village during the busiest hours on both days.
Sit back, relax, and let us bring you straight to the action!
We welcome your feedback on this iniative.
TFI Local Link bus service: This bus runs to Mountshannon from Ennis. A mystery singer songwriter will be on board the bus this year again to get you into the festive move on Saturday 31 May. No need to care about the road. Just sit back, relax and listen to great songs!
