May the Roach be with you

My recent collection of paintings are inspired by the beautiful East Clare, being beside Lough Derg and surrounded by an abundance of nature. It is not hard!
I have given this shoal of Roach some serious Pop Art envy, that it deserves. Painted on canvas with lots of neon acrylics it will even glow under a black light. The same as the ‘The Commander of the Lough’ the rich tones of green represents growth and healing, the slight glimmer of light coming through the surface of the water highlights the bold silver and red accents of their bodies.
